About Pop Training Academy
The 'pop' or 'ollie' is usually the first move in any skateboarder's career. This (apparently) simple movement, which gives you a little air, is the foundation of every trick in the skater's handbook. Directed by Fabio de Frel for Pop Training Company, an Amsterdam-based skate retailer, this short film is a tongue-in-cheek parody of a skateboarding program designed to help you increase the 'size of your pop' in 14 days. With ridiculous and over-the-top exercise regimes the program shares all the hallmarks of a navy seal training academy—stressing the importance people place in the four-wheeled sport.
